Some time ago I published my list of features that should be added to Google Analytics. The first item were weekly and monthly stats to enable you to quickly spot trends in your amount of visitors.
Although I do not think that Google reads my posts I was happily surprised when I discovered that Google is working on the implementation of item 1 on the list.
In the Dashboard you can now choose to visualize the daily, weekly and monthly stats. Below I included some screenshot of the one of my websites per November 1, 2007. You will note that it is a lot easier to spot trends since the weekly and monthly stats have a lot less noise.
Visitors per day (1 Nov - 3 April)
Visitors per week (1 Nov - 3 April)
Visitors per month (1 Nov - 3 April)
I am not sure how you think of this feature but I think it is a great added feature. Thank you Google, let’s start with the second item of the list.
